Create a TruSync account

Sign in with Intuit

Choose Continue with Intuit on the sign-in page and approve the prompt from Intuit. This uses the same QuickBooks credentials you already sign in to QuickBooks Online with.

Signing in with Intuit identifies you. It does not connect your QuickBooks company to TruSync — that’s a separate step, and TruSync will ask for it explicitly. Nothing is read from or written to your books until you connect a company and finish setup.

Sign in with Google

Choose Continue with Google and approve the prompt. Same result as Intuit: it identifies you, and connecting QuickBooks stays a separate step.

Sign up with an email address

Choose Create Account, enter your email address and a password, and TruSync emails you a confirmation link.

You have to click that link before you can sign in. Until you do, signing in shows “Confirm your email address before signing in” with a Resend confirmation email button.

The link is good for 24 hours. If it expires, use Resend confirmation email from the sign-in page to get a new one.

Set up direct sign-in from inside your store

If you reached TruSync by installing it from your store platform, you’re already signed in — the platform vouches for you, and you never had to create anything. Create Login in the header sets up a way to reach TruSync directly at trusync.ai, without going through the platform first.

You’ll be offered Google, a password, or both.

If your platform shared your email address with us, it’s shown on the form and there’s nothing to confirm. Set a password, or link Google, and you’re done.

If it didn’t, TruSync asks which address you want to sign in with. Amazon, eBay and Wix don’t pass a contact address to apps, so there’s genuinely nothing on file — pick the one you actually read. TruSync emails a confirmation link, and you’ll need to click it before direct sign-in works. Nothing changes inside your store platform in the meantime; keep using TruSync from there as normal while you wait.

Once an address is on the account, Continue with Google appears too — Google sign-in works by matching that address, so it needs one to match.

Why the confirmation step exists

TruSync lets people invite colleagues and accountants into an organization by email address. Confirming your address is what proves the address is yours — without it, someone could sign up using an address they don’t control and collect an invitation meant for someone else.

If you signed in with Intuit or Google, there’s nothing to confirm. Those providers have already verified the address.

FAQ

Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.

I never received the confirmation email. What now?

Check spam first. Then use Resend confirmation email on the sign-in page — you’ll need to type your address again. Confirmation emails come from TruSync; allow-list the sender if your mail provider is strict.

Does signing in with Intuit connect my QuickBooks company?

No. It signs you in. Connecting a QuickBooks company is a separate, explicit step, and TruSync can’t read or write your books until you complete it.

I already have an account with a password. Can I start using Intuit sign-in instead?

Yes, as long as the Intuit account uses the same email address as your TruSync account.

Do I need a separate TruSync account for each store?

No. One account can hold several stores, and one accountant can belong to several organizations. See Team & access.

Why was I not asked to confirm my address?

Accounts that existed before confirmation was introduced were carried over as already confirmed, and so are accounts created through Intuit, Google, or a store install that passed your address along. The one case that does need confirming is an address you type in yourself — at sign-up, or when setting up direct sign-in on a store whose platform never gave us one.

My store platform never gave TruSync my email address. Is something wrong?

No. Amazon, eBay and Wix don’t pass a seller contact address to apps at all. TruSync leaves it blank rather than inventing one, and asks you for it the first time it needs one.
