Account & organization

What lives at the organization level

  • The QuickBooks Online connection.
  • Every store you’ve connected, and their individual sync settings.
  • Account, payment method, and tax jurisdiction mappings.
  • Billing and plan information.

Multiple stores, one organization

You can connect more than one store to the same TruSync organization — each store keeps its own mapping and sync settings, but they all post into the same QuickBooks company.

Use the store switcher in the header to move between them.

People in your organization

You can invite your accountant, bookkeeper, or a colleague into your organization from SettingsTeam, as an Admin or a Member. They get their own login instead of sharing yours, and you can revoke access at any time.

Someone can belong to more than one organization — an accountant with several clients, for example. When they do, every store they can reach is labelled with the organization it belongs to.

See Team & access for how invitations work.

Can I have more than one QuickBooks company under one TruSync organization?

No — one organization connects to one QuickBooks company at a time.

Who can access my TruSync organization?

Whoever you’ve invited, plus whoever connected the store or the QuickBooks company. Go to SettingsTeam to see the current list, invite someone, or revoke a pending invitation. You don’t need to contact support to change access.

Can one person work across several organizations?

Yes. Accountants commonly belong to several. They sign in once, and the store switcher lists every store they can reach, grouped by organization.

If I disconnect a store, do its past synced orders disappear from QuickBooks?

No — disconnecting only stops future syncing. Transactions already created in QuickBooks stay as they are.
